The Southern African Law Teachers Conference (SALTC) is a biennial conference hosted by a host University in partnership with the Society for Law Teachers of Southern Africa. The SALTC brings together legal educators, scholars, practitioners, and members of the legal community for enhanced legal education and research in the SADC region.

About the host

Call for Abstracts
- Delegates may submit an abstract for either of the proposed Southern African Law Teachers Conference (SALTC) sub-themes. Please the call for abstracts here.
Abstract submission
- Abstracts should be no more than 300 words and clearly outline the objectives, methodology, and relevance of the proposed paper to the theme of the conference.
- Submissions must be original and previously unpublished work.
- All submissions should follow De Jure/PULP referencing style
- Please submit your abstracts via email to salawteachersconf@up.ac.za
